Update: Teethy dot app - General Fixes

  • Multiple changes and fixes to Teethy dot app:
    • Consistent page style/design for each media type and for when handling media query links.
    • Added support for .webp files.
    • Added copy button for pasteable URL - Great for pasting into Discord!
    • Improved filename handling, specifically for long names or unusual characters.
  • Known Issues with Teethy dot app:
    • Some filenames break when shared. Try renaming it to something smaller or simpler. [EDIT: I think it is caused by ampersands (&) not escaping properly.]
    • Improper error codes under certain conditions.

Update: Teethy dot app

  • Teethy dot app now has a purpose and function!
    • Temporary file sharing.
    • Can upload various video, audio and image files for easy sharing and downloading.
    • Not meant to be a permanent storage, files will get deleted or replaced.
    • Supports URL shares.
    • Generates a URL with a button to copy to clipboard.
    • Experimental! Will expand capabilities over time.
  • Fixed some responsiveness issues under certain circumstances.
  • Continued adjustments to previously added windows for better responsive behaviour.
  • Various system updates.

Update: Uploads

  • Added link to uploads:Upload Icon.
    • Allows you to upload files to the site or to Teethy.
    • Uploaded files can be viewed. Download at your own risk!
    • Files are temporary. They may exist for seconds or months then issue Error 410: Gone.
  • Overhauled the CSS of the aforementioned upload.teethy.ca to make it match the look and feel of the main site.
  • Minor tweaks and changes to the site.
  • Misc. server updates.

TeethOS Update: Blog Style and Links

  • Added buttons to copy links from blog posts.
    • Using the PID, it will grab and generate the appropriate URL.
    • Copy button added to posts on Updates page
    • Copy button added to individual post pages.
  • Updates styling on individual post pages to suit the site theme better.

Reverse Proxy Clean-up

    It was a long time coming. I was neglecting it for a couple years.

  • Removed dozens of dead dynmap reverse-proxies.
    • There is no backup. This action will not be reversed
    • Transferred all working reverse-proxies to new webserver.
    • Removed the subdomains from the DNS.
  • Below are the surviving proxies:
  • New Reverse Proxy creation is temporarily closed but will continue in the future at an extremely small fee.
    • Old clients will be grandfathered in.
    • Price will likely be $1 or less per month.
  • Server updates.

  • At last I got around to making the pop-up "windows" be draggable across the page. It isn't perfect, but works good enough for now.

    Minor Update

    • Added <meta> tags to <head>

    Responsiveness

    Doing some changes & hopefully eventual improvements to the site's resizing/responsiveness. I don't aim to make it optimal for mobile phones, but I do want it to be at least useable/readable on a phone screen.

    Update - Debug Options

    • Added an area to enable debug options.
      • Makes some debugging tools and hidden tests visible.
      • Enables some potential future features. Not guaranteed to be implemented.

    Grey Mode Test

    In the Tester I added a toggle button for the CSS. Changes from my purple to a grayscale theme. Doesn't change the "program icons", the visuals inside Updates or the Orca Web Surfer.

    Update: Email Server

    The email server is still down. No matter what I do it just never receives or allows the reception of emails. Cannot seem to figure out what I'm missing...

    Edit: Doing some maintenance on some of the things in the background. May have slower load times or timed out errors. Should only be a few hours at most.

    Added a mock web browser.

    Due to security rules you'll have limited sites that you can browse.

    I provided some bookmarked sites as examples.

    Try using smaller, more independent websites or use subpages of my domains.

      • Click around to see what you can find! My normal site links are in projects. Other site areas to come soon!
      The old homepage can still be viewed here but will no longer be maintained or updated.
  • NEW: Update blog - Moved from Tumblr to host it on my own. I like having the creative control.
      • Can embed images/video/music files
      Has functions to edit/delete posts aside from only making new posts.
      Supports complex formatting.
      More backend improvements.
